i don't understant something with envelopes

Take a new synth, with any waveform on OSC 1.

Put a C3 on the pianoroll. During all the first time.
Put ATTACK, SUSTAIN, RELEASE of ENV2 to 0.
Put DECAY at something fast (as if you want to make a kick).

Patch OSC1 PITCH to ENV2 at a positive value (such as 25 for example).
==> That change the final pitch : The final sound when envelope is finish is lower than the initial sound without the envelope.

is it normal ?

I understood something :
The SUSTAIN must be 25 to have the initial value at the end of the DECAY time.
BUT, and i think it is a problem : even if the RELEASE time is set to 0, the value after the RELEASE time will be the lowest possible.

Example with a new synth for making kind of kick drum :

• OSC-1/Type => Initial
• ENV 1 => Master volume (ADSR=0,20,50,13)
• ENV 2 => OSC-1/Transpose (modulation=+50, ADSR=0,1,25,0)
• OSC-2 OFF

Play a C1 = you will ear the really low oscillation of the OSC-1 when releasing the note.
So it's impossible to make a kick with amplitude release time, looks strange for me, did i made a mistake ?

OK i got it ! I think now i'm okay ^^

Just have to use an envelope 2 like this for pitch :
0,[what ever i want], 0, 0

And i put my initial pitch value much highter than before.

It's more complex than expected because i need to tune one more parameter (initial pitch + modulation quantity), but... it work : )

It's the first time i use that kind of envelopes, i didn't understood why sometimes i had difficults to tune that, i just realise the behaviour now ^^'
