Change the midi note of a kit row for better use of the midi follow function

I have the Problem that i want to controll the deluge with my edrums but the midi mapping from the edrums is total weird.
So with the kit Funktion oft the midi folow its not Wirkung because its chromatic.
So i habe the question if its alfeady possible vor if it could be possible to remap it from the deluge side and i dont .ean the normal midi learn because that is gone when i change the sound or the kit

• yes you can, check the midi follow menu for kit root note, you can hold learn and send a note to change the root note to what matches your keyboard

Yes but then its chromatic from the roat note
But if the edrum is not chromatic or if i want to map the Bassdrum exactly to one specific note and also the snare and so on.
Its not possible i think
Because i dont want to use a keyboard i want to use my edrums set.

Ah I understand

Yea midi follow is meant to support chromatic mapping only.

Because each kit could have a different number of rows and because the sounds in each row could be different, it did not make sense to build mappings for each row individually but rather to provide the means to control a kit chromatically.

ah yes thats true but maybe a function to switch the rows of the Kit like with the tracks in song mode and switch the midi notes with it.

I thought about it again and it would be also enough to have kit rows permanently lerned to a midi note.
So that when you change a sample the connection is still there
