[FAIL] Visual C++ 2012 Runtime

Everything checks fine when running emuhawk but [FAIL] Visual C++ 2012 Runtime sees to fail and won't let me start.
Already tried to manually uninstall everything and run the preq again.
Firewall and realtime protection in disabled.

This is a discrepancy between the current main release of BizHawk and the prereq package - in the most recent prereq version, the 2012 dependency was supposedly removed because it was unnecessary for BizHawk's latest cores. However in the BizHawk side of things it is still checking for it. BizHawk's next release needs to account for this issue if 2012 is indeed no longer a prereq. Or alternatively, we need a way to bypass the BizHawk dependency check.

EmuHawk does not depend on MSVC 2012 and never did. This is a typo in the dependency checker, the actual dependency is on MSVC 12.0 (2013). As mentioned, the latest versions of this installer do not install MSVC 12.0 (after e0a028b). I have updated the BizHawk readme to point to the most recent prereq installer which does: 2.1. Running that will let you pass the dependency checker on 2.3.3 and 2.4.
