Hi Team, I need to determine the maximum throughput while running the workload using HammerDB on small, medium, and large servers. The servers are categorized based on their system specifications. Database: PostgreSQL Workload: TPROC-C Kindly provide the details or tuning recommendations required to push the CPU usage close to 100% and optimize other system parameters accordingly. This is a very generic, open-ended question in the lines of 'how do I tune a database?' which is going to be different depending on the database software and hardware it is running on. If these skills are not in-house I would recommend engaging an external consultancy to advise . |
