Changing a global font

I am a bit green with the whole linux thing, but I am trying to change a font in Tauon config

use-custom-fonts = false # Setting to false will reset below settings to default on restart
font-main-standard = "Noto Sans, Noto Sans CJK JP, Arial," # Suggested alternate: Liberation Sans
font-main-medium = "Noto Sans, Noto Sans CJK JP, Arial, Medium"
font-main-bold = "Noto Sans, Noto Sans CJK JP, Bold"
font-main-condensed = "Noto Sans, Extra-Condensed"
font-main-condensed-bold = "Noto Sans, Extra-Condensed Bold"

I want to change it to the 'JetBrainsMono Nerd Font', I input it instead of the "Noto Sans, Noto Sans CJK JP, Arial,", but upon saving and restarting, config returns to the default (yes, I do change "use-custom-fonts" to true).

What am I doing wrong? Is there a trick to inputting the fonts here?

Try make sure Tauon is closed when editing the file

Yep, that did it, thank you very much. I was editing the file with the app open and then relaunching it
