New features coming in SC 0.22.0 and that are now testable in this beta:

Added

• Event debouncing for avoiding executing shell commands too often (#380).
• New output channel: Assign custom variables (#382).
  • Allows storing output from shell commands and reusing them as input for other shell commands later.
  • Also added a setting for enabling notifications when custom variables' values change.
• Ribbon icon for Custom variables view (#386).
• New variables {{obsidian_api_version}} and {{shell_commands_plugin_version}} (#387).

Changed

• Settings: Make "Show a notification when executing shell commands" decidable on a per shell command basis (388).
• Settings: Event Every n seconds: Allow one decimal (#385).

Fixed

• Bug: Shell command preview text is not updated when modifying the command (#383).

0.22.0-beta.2 test version is now available

Summary of changes:

• Debounce mode settings fields changed - hopefully it's now clearer.
• Cooldown duration can now be prolonged.
• "Execute after cooldown" mode now starts another cooldown + execution process afterward, if needed.
• Added {{event_type}} variable.
