Dear Jare,
I’ve been enjoying the Shell Commands functionality—it's a great productivity tool. However, as my list of commands has grown, the persistent code preview at the bottom of the command editor has become increasingly distracting and, at times, frustrating.
As shown in the attached image, the preview makes it harder to focus on the active command being developed, especially when the bash command is lengthy. On one occasion, it even led to accidental deletion of important lines of code due to visibility issues.
Suggestions for improvement:
Make the main code editor collapsible, especially useful for users with long lists of commands (I’m using macOS and zsh).
Add an option to hide or disable the bottom preview window entirely. For many of us, this view has little added value once we’re actively editing the command.
These changes would greatly enhance usability and reduce accidental edits or distractions.
Many thanks for considering this.
