useInfiniteQuery with both forward and reverse?

I'd like my infinite-scrolling list to be able to not only pull in more data as I scroll down, but also do the same as I scroll up.

useInfiniteQuery does one or the other, but not both. Has anyone tricked it into working bidirectionally?

Or is there a better way to do this that I am missing?
