Only preform Query on a certain condition

Im trying to only preform a certain query based on a condition that is passed down to the component as a prop.
Can anyone recommend on the ebst way to do that >?

I think you want the enabled option:

useQuery(['something', certainCondition], fetchSomething, { enabled: certainCondition === true }
