Possibility of infinite query getNextPageParam pages to be undefined

Hey there, we recently upgraded the React Query in our app to the newest version.
We started seeing this log after the upgrade from Datadog.

TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined

Error line/column points to the getNextPageParam definition in our minified bundle(from codepush).

function p(n, t) {
      var o = t.pages,
        u = t.pageParams,
        l = o.length - 1;
      return o.length > 0 ? n.getNextPageParam(o[l], o, u[l], u) : void 0;
    }

Is there a possibility of pages param in getNextPageParam being undefined?
If so, In which cases can this happen and are there any recommendations on what/how to debug this problem?

PS: I also saw this discussion but I checked our codebase and didn't see anywhere where i am using the same key for Query and InfiniteQuery.
