useMatchRoute with search params

I have a route that takes an optional search param id. I would like to have useMatchRoute execute when the id is provided. Is there a way to do this?

The documentation has examples for dynamic route segments, but not for search params.

    const matchData = matchRoute({ to: '/users', search: { id: "allow any defined id" }, pending: true });

    if (matchData !== false) {

I want the useEffect conditional to execute whenever an id is provided. I could just do matchRoute({ to: '/users', pending: true }) and exclude the search params check, but the returned matchData object doesn't list which search params were provided.

you would rather use useMatches for this to find the particular match and then read its search params
