Roadmap for v8?

Reading #2365 has me curious - what does the roadmap for v8 look like?

We're currently orchestrating an upgrade from react-table v6 to v7 (mainly by providing a v6-like API on top of v7 which is OK since we use the same styling all over) and I'm currently researching ways for other devs in my company to write plugins for react-table. If v8 brings significant changes to the plugin architecture then I might just hold off on the expandability aspect.
