Normalize diacritics

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to globally normalize diacritics for sorting and global/column filtering.

E.g. using:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/normalize-diacritics

Currently sorting up I get:

Ana
Micha
Zsolt
Éllie

where I would expect Éllie before Micha and not at the bottom.
