Unable to add images to steps?

I am trying to add images to individual steps in my recipe. As far as I know I should be able to do that through the file option for a step. However I seem unable to add anything when using the file option. Am I in the wrong place or is this a known bug or what is going on?

(If I click where it says file, I just get an empty search which says no results, and I seem unable to insert an actual picture there)

you currently need to upload the files first (trough the files view in the database). This is a bit annoying, I will improve it at some point.
