@Andrewsuares Based on the exception looks like is something related with the Google API key.

Have you added the GOOGLE_PLACES_API_KEY env variable with your Google API key to your .env file?

GOOGLE_PLACES_API_KEY="your_google_place_api_key_here"

Could you please provide more details to show me how I can reproduce it (like steps to follow, or share a repository, or a snippet of your GoogleAutocomplete field)?

Use it with this

GoogleAutocomplete::make('google_search') ->placesApiNew()

The old places api is not working anymore

I get an error as I use ->placesApiNew().

I wasted so much time trying to get this project to work. There should be a notice that says it's not maintained anymore. Just use this instead.

That plugin is so complicated, that I don't use that plugin. I get results in that plugin but not for all requests. I want to type addresses and business names. But than you have to specify types. I than I am stuck.
