End gate spawn

So, this might possibly be just me, but when I tried to dial the End gate, the gate dialed, and closed (meaning it dialed, opened for a milisecond, and then closed), when I tried to dial it again, it failed dial, even with the creative Dialer... when I teleported to the end via the creative dialer, the gate had its 4 left blocks stuck into a pillar, destroying the gate on load... pls, if possible, could the gate spawn more near the load in place? the Obsidian platform... or atleast, at minimum, 70 blocks from the mid? so that that doesnt happen?

normally it generates a bit further out, also the obsidian spawn platform only generates when an entity goes through the end portal
