How do I make Newpipe relinquish control of my screen brightness #12397

Checklist
What is/are your question(s)?I nearly dropped my phone while the screen was on. While bobbling to catch it, I somehow made it so that every time a video is fullscreen, the brightness dims to a level that make some videos (such as those covering dark, moody games) unwatchable. I have tried to remove its permission to do so, searched the settings for the option, checked the FAQ on Newpipe's site for how to fix this, and searched the forums here for "brightness". What button did I press and how do I un-press it? Thank you for your time! Additional informationNo response |

Brightness and Volume is controlled by swiping up & down actions on left and right side of video player respectively by default. So if you haven't changed below told setting, swipe up on left side when playing video fullscreen to increase it otherwise use right side to swipe up or down to control Brightness/Volume. Alternatively Go to Video audio Settings in the app, scroll down to find left gesture action if it is set to brightness set it to none then re-enable or do that on right gesture action if brightness is set on right side, default is "Brightness" on left, "Volume" is on the right. Hope it helps as it looks you are a new user and sorry for late reply. |
