I'm sorry if this is in the wrong spot, tell me and I'll be more than happy to move it but this needs to be said

I often uninstall/reinstall this app but I ALWAYS keep the nightly and stable .apk files. It has been a while since I installed either apk but today I went and looked for it. I thought I was going crazy so I checked my other spot for it. Nothing. I used the search feature in my files to search the whole device. Both of them are gone.

My question is does anyone else happen to have had this happen?

Additional information

I'm not the most tech savy person in the world but I do know my stuff. I have many many apks on my device and they are all accounted for (especially ones I haven't used in a long while). No one else has been on my device, I'm sure of it and it's never done anything like this with any type of file...

Seems very odd Google is cracking down on stuff lately, yesterday all of a sudden something weird starts happening to Google products on my phone, and today NewPipe is missing. Not looking to start anything but I'm beginning to think this is more than coincidence... Anyone else???
