Description
Life is a lie
This is what you may get to hear from time to time. And this is actually true when it comes to storage. Out of curiosity, I wrote Windows Feedback¹ regarding the storage issues that plague Microsoft users ever since DOS.
For your better understanding, 1 KB (Kilobyte) is 1 000 B, Windows however is calculating 1 024 Bytes into 1 KiB (Kebibyte) and defines that as 1 KB.
Copied over from my feedback for your better understanding because I think everyone deserves to know this, despite Microsoft restricting this to Windows users with a Microsoft account.
I have fallen for this lie too and therefore have to apologise. How about we correct it in EmuGUI by replacing "RAM in MB" with "RAM in MiB" as it should be? What you're assigning for a VHD are KiB, MiB or GiB, not KB, MB or GB. We should fix that too at some point.
