Unfortunately, billions of dollars have been spent on developing special purpose hardware for solving Sha-256 problems.

Perhaps Anubis should consider switching to something like https://github.com/tevador/RandomX for proof of work so that bots won't be able to develop special hardware for bypassing the PoW challenge.

I admit, SHA-256 is a hack that's intended to bait the AI companies into doing a GPU offload. Then once they do we switch it to something else and break their fast-path forever :)
