I am curious as to how / why anibus is able to work with text based browsers. I'm able to visit sites like https://anubis.techaro.lol/ with w3m, which doesn't support js, however I'm not able to do the same with a normal browser (FF in my case) with those things disabled.
However, setting my user agent to that of w3m seems to allow me to bypass anibus (or be weighted differently or whatever.). So my question really is, is there something stopping a bot just using w3m's user agent string and bypassnig this? Or am I missing something?
