What do we do well?
I thought it was awesome how interactive the bootcamp was. Completing labs individually and then coming back to the group was a huge plus. I was also a fan of multiple labs per session.

What could we have done better?
I would have preferred if the oral presentation provided additional/different context to what we were seeing in the slides and on the labs. The more insight from the experts, the better!

Love the hands on labs!

What could we have done better?
I think overall the lessons were straightforward. I would say providing the slides used in the presentation prior to class would help. Basically reading/studying the slides then coming to class with questions based off the content

What do we do well?
You covered a lot of materials that are useful to helped my feet wet with Github Security. The labs were helpful!

What could we have done better?
Some of the things that we covered are very foundamental and new to Github. I think having materials to read where we will get an introduction of them beforehand would be beneficial because that will allow us to ask more indepth questions.

Ideas and suggestions?
Some of the labs are too straightforward - I think the lab can be made longer where we can understand the product capability.

I can see lots of efforts were put in hands-on demos and they were very helpful in understanding the concepts explained in this bootcamp!

What could we have done better?
More explanation on content presented in slides.

Ideas and suggestions?
One of our goal is to take certification exams after these bootcamps. So if there is some emphasis on sharing more info on that, it would be helpful to us.

What do we do well?
The hands on labs were great, and the time for questions + candid responses were much appreciated. Dave & Mickey - you were both super approachable and informative which made learning easy and enjoyable. I'd recommend this bootcamp to colleagues.

What could we have done better?
I left the trainings feeling very confident that I could successfuly configure and gain value from GitHub's various tools, like Valet & GHAS, in my personal repos. However I still feel like there's a lot for me to discover about how to sucessfully leverage those tools at enterprise scale. More insight into successfully rolling out GHAS across an enterprise account/organization would have been appreciated.

Ideas and suggestions?
A lab / set of labs focused around administrating GHAS for an organization - how to set things up for all of your repos, view and investigate findings across your org, etc. Also perhaps some exposure to the GHAS Security Overview feature.

Very attentive to questions that popped up during our sessions together.

What could we have done better?
Next time in addition to the default CodeQL option, it would be nice to see a third party code scanning integration (i.e., not CodeQL)shown with Code Scanning.
