DesignOps Landing

Goal

Decide whether we see value in rescuing the current Design Core landing page (currently for private use) to use it as a meeting point/showcase that allows us to introduce ourselves as a team, explain our mission, and centralize useful resources for the rest of the organization.

Context

Now that we are officially the Design Ops team, we have an opportunity to define how we want to communicate who we are and how we can help. We currently have a landing page that is in private mode, and it could be the ideal starting point to make our work visible beyond tools like Mística or Teams channels.

The landing page could include:

• Team presentation (who we are and what we do)
• Our mission and role within the organization
• Services we offer and areas of support
• Centralized resources: documentation, guides, tools, and links to the future documentation landing page
• How to contact us and when to reach out to us

Impact

Positive:

• Greater visibility of the team and its purpose
• Clear entry point for teams that need our support
• Centralization of useful resources
• Reinforcement of our identity as a strategic team (not just "the Mística people")
• Complements existing channels (Teams, etc.)

Risks / considerations:

• Keeping it updated requires dedication
• Avoid duplication with other documentation spaces
• Clearly define its purpose to avoid confusion
