[BUG] Markdown does not recognize hyperlinks to file urls #3786
Description
- I've checked docs and closed issues for possible solutions.
- I can't find my issue in the FAQ.
Describe the bug
Rich does not render links in markdown if they point to a file url. So while
[hello](http://test)properly gets treated as a hyperlink,
[hello](file://test)does not. Using [link=file://test]hello[/link] does work outside of markdown.
