Should .chainlit and chainlit.md be under version control?

I noticed the .chainlit directory and chainlit.md file in app/01-chatbot are flagged by git as "untracked files". It appears they are added automatically when using chainlit, true? If so, should they be tracked in git or added to .gitignore?
