Black Frames

I have an issue where the cameras will save frames but they will be black. Do you know a reason this could be occurring? Hitting device_reset in the demo app or unplugging and replugging the camera solves the problem. Additionally, if I wanted to call set the device_reset property ID what are the steps for rediscovering the device?

Regarding black images:
Which camera are you using?
Can you elaborate a little more on what your program is doing?
Is the data all zero or is the image just dark very?
Which program are you using?
Are the images displayed correctly, but on the the saved data is black?
Does doing UserSetLoad with UserSetSelector=Default solve it as well (instead of going for device reset)?

I don't know of any condition where any camera would be in a state where it delivered black images other than being configured like that, e.g. white balance coefficients set to zero.

The property IDs are just strings -- if you find a property in the property dialog, the ID of the property (in this case "DeviceReset") is the title of the description box.
