Under the hood, StreamPack uses librtmp/rtmpdump. It is quiet old, really hard to maintain or to add new features.
If you find this feature in librtmp/rtmpdump, I will be glad to make it till StreamPack API.

Otherwise, this feature will have to wait till I find a better implementation (maybe a new implementation). But it will take a while because it is a huge work, I have 1000 other ideas for this library and of course not enough time.

First, great project, and thanks for the hard work.

Second, I am interested in something like this. Specifically, I will be using SRT to stream to our server. I just want a simple way to log statistics about the stream like: bitrate (or changes in bitrate), network conditions (packet loss, upload link speed used, etc). For bitrate, I am interested mainly in video bitrate, since that is the bulk of our stream data.

In order of most interest/importance for me:

1. Video bitrate (mainly when it changes; I believe SRT allows for adaptive bitrates? Correct me if i am wrong and this would actually be useless, but I know RTMP only really works with CBR)
2. Latency
3. Packet loss (we stream using LTE a lot, and knowing when the network is degrading is important. Open to other metrics which may capture this better)
4. Upload link bandwidth used by the stream (for example, with a 4mbps video stream, i would expect to see a bit over 4mps upload link bandwidth used)
   I am open to any ways of collecting these from the streamer, maybe callbacks, observer or flows?

Edit: I just saw your other issue about the VUMeter. I added a couple other metrics like latency i was interested in.

There are already statistics for SRT.
The endpoint hold a metrics getter.
I haven't tested it for a while but you should get it by streamer.endpoint.metrics as Stats. See https://github.com/ThibaultBee/srtdroid/blob/main/srtdroid-core/src/main/java/io/github/thibaultbee/srtdroid/core/models/Stats.kt
It is a bit raw but you will find most the statistics you are look for but not the video bitrate as it is content agnostics.

You can get the encoded video bitrate in the streamer.encoder instance. But I don't see a way to get or compute the transmitted video bitrate.
