Application does not receive tablet input

thank you for the great resource!
unfortunately, i seem to be having issues getting Sai2 to actually register tablet input despite following the guide to a tee.
i am using an XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro with the OpenTabletDriver installed and working on native Linux applications like Krita.
i'm on Fedora 42 using Wayland Plasma.

i've attached a video showing the tablet debugger, followed by me using my mouse.

Hi! I also use Fedora 42 with wayland (KDE), but a different tablet (Inspiroy Dial 2, Q630M). The pressure doesn't work for me in SAI2. I get a WinTab driver returned an error popup from Sai when I open it.
Update: turns out, my driver was not in the Artist mode. Switching to it fixed all the errors.

Go to sai2.ini and set "AvoidWacomBug" and "AlwaysUseTabletPcApi" to "yes". Worked for me on CachyOS with pretty much the same setup as the post.

If that doesn't work try first installing "PaintTool SAI (Full installation)" from here.
Then on that same folder extract the files that the repo indicates (SAI2 64bit - 2024-08-14 Technical Preview), Modify the sai2.ini "AvoidWacomBug" and "AlwaysUseTabletPcApi" lines, follow the rest of the instructions and you should be able to use it normally. I had the same issue and it just required me to install SAI 2 on top of SAI.
