Weird Water Bottle Behavior

I'm on an isolated instance of Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric 0.17.2 and:

• Fabric API 0.116.6
• Fading Cloud 1.1.0

And the mod is causing water bottles to not work:

Essentially after filling the bottle with water, any interaction with the bottle like trying to move it in your inventory or dropping it on the ground will cause it to empty.

It's easily fixed by deleting this line.
