Im leaning but still a novice, But i need HELP…

I have been left a couple of discs and a bag of keep sakes by my father before he died. I thought the discs were just photo and family stuff from over the years, as i started to look through theres al sorts from instal wizards to files in binary. Ive spent weeks on it and manage to covert some stuff that makes it obvious its something else he left to my family and me because we are named. The last thing i found was a API TOKEN that is a json file and the web link is amrosec.io. And im constantly being sent to kubrscape and github.
Is there anyone here who can tell me what the token could be for, and also how i get to decipher everything else.
