CI test that checks backend typescript bindings fails despite no binding changes locally

Re-running cargo run -p backend -- generate-bindings locally did not change packages/backend/pkg/src/index.ts. Removing packages/backend/pkg/src/index.ts and re-generating produced the exact same output.

Thanks for making an issue. I've just looked at getting this stable with #1135 . We will see if upstream accepts it.

I think we could fix this by generating the bindings instead of tracking them in git: #1136. I think that solution is more robust (entirely avoids issues like #1115) and matches the pattern used by catlog-wasm for built artifacts required by the frontend.
