Scale-out Architecture: Lite-Embedded vs Lite-K8s Engine

Hi team,

Can someone confirm the scaling capabilities of Nussknacker Lite engine variants?

My Understanding:

• Lite-Embedded: Single instance only, no scale-out
• Lite-K8s: Supports horizontal scaling, multiple replicas, cluster deployment

Is this correct?

For production with high availability and scaling requirements, is Lite-K8s the only option?

Hi @joice1910 . You are right; the Lite-Embedded engine doesn't scale out. For a scalable deployment, you can use either Lite-k8s engine or Flink-based engine. In the community version, there is available an integration with Flink standalone cluster. In the enterprise version, there are also available integrations with Flink Kubernetes operator and with Ververica platform.
