Hi, there wasn't any recent change in archived notes, just make sure you have the first checkbox checked and archived notes should be hidden: |

Thanks for such a quick reply! I didn't know where to find that little
pop-up. I 'd forgot it was under that little settings wheel. Sorry for the
confusion.

I can't completely hide archived notes anymore. I see there is something that talks about hidden sub trees, but I can't find any documentation on how to do that either. I'm curious about the reason behind the change in archived notes. Seems counter productive to have them grayed out, but still visible in the sub-tree. And would like to know how to hide a sub-tree for that reason. I looked for another discussion and found one from 2021, where Zadam told the OP how to hide notes. That's what I would ideally like to be able to do again.
