Is there a way to keep scratchpad content from show in the owned attributes? I have tried #hideScratchpadContent and #disableScratchpadContent, but neither one works.

what I want to do is not actually disable the scratchpad, but hide the scratchpad content from the ribbon bar's Owned Attributes. What I write on the scratchpad prints there and makes it difficult to spot other attributes.

Perhaps you could think about scratchpad content differently?

I usually just create a child note (Ctrl-P) and open it in a new split. If you don't want the scratchpad note to show in the tree, you can mark it as archived.

thanks for the suggestion. That's not what I'm after though. I want to clear the scratchpad content out of the Owned Attributes.

You can also just quickly toggle the attribute tray with Alt-a. Once you get used to it, it becomes muscle memory and you can just look at the tray when needed instead of keeping it open all the time.

That isn't the problem. The attribute tray is only open when I click on it. The problem is that when it is open and there is content in the scratchpad, it displays under the attribute "scratchpadContent" and is automatic, although I wish it weren't there at all. I'm looking for answers to solve this problem, not work arounds. But, thanks for your suggestion.

Understood, but the scratchpad is not a part of Trilium itself, so you would need to report this to the developer of the widget. Trilium does not have a way to hide attributes AFAIK
