Math input box size

I'm new to TriliumNext and like the tool. How can I increase the size of the Math input box and enable multi-line editing? The current math editing box is too small for complex formulas, and the single-line input box reduces readability.

How to install the widget:

1. Create a code note of type JS Frontend, and paste in the code from the link above.
2. Add the label widget to the code note created in Step 1.
3. Restart the application.

Thanks for your reply. This solution has definitely made things easier for me.

When I first edited the formula, I used Shift+Enter to insert a line break, and everything looked fine to me. However, after closing the window and reopening it to edit again, I noticed that the line breaks had been automatically removed. Is there any workaround to fix this?

I thought about it — I realized that this widget adds a multiline text area that mirrors the original single-line input. Since the data is still saved in the single-line input, line breaks are automatically stripped, making the issue unresolvable.

It seems that native support for multiline text boxes in CKEditor 5 won't be coming anytime soon — this issue has existed for years.

Please note that TriliumNext now natively supports multi-line formula editing and can save line breaks. Please remove this Widget when switching to the next version.
