Should dump-db be moved to its own repo?

Hi,

I wonder, if the dump-db "subproject" inside the Notes folder, should maybe get moved to its own repo?
Similar to trilium-db-compare which is also handled as a separate repo: https://github.com/TriliumNext/trilium-db-compare

If yes, then it might make sense to align naming between these?

So that dump-db becomes ->

trilium-db-dump
and matches
trilium-db-compare

Or one could even go further and create a joint trilium-db-tools like repo?

@pano9000 , my take would be no. I much prefer monorepos.
Once we'll have a monorepo like structure, we can have something like:

• An apps dir containing the client, server and tools such as dump-db and compare-db.
• A packages dir containing various modules and perhaps plugins in the future.

ok, then what about the other way around? :-)
If at some point a Monorepo is the goal, then I guess trilium-db-compare should be moved into the "Notes" repo then? :-)

@pano9000 , absolutely. And it would not be the only one.

But I would want to do it the fine way and include the history of the repository as well.
