How to create a Widget with an auto-complete dialog?

I would like to add a button that creates a note from a template, then forces the user to fill a few fields.
The script is working easily for labels, using api.showPromptDialog() , but I can't figure out how to make an auto-complete field, like for "Jump to" widget, for instance.

Currently, Trilium's scripting API (like api.showPromptDialog()) only supports basic text and label prompts, and does not provide a way to create auto-complete fields in custom dialogs or widgets. The auto-complete used in the "Jump to" feature is a React component built into the main client UI and isn't exposed for use in user scripts or widgets. Replicating this kind of auto-complete in a widget or script isn't possible with the public API right now without modifying the client code or extending the API yourself. You can find more about how widgets work in general in the Frontend Basics documentation, but auto-complete dialogs like "Jump to" aren't currently supported for custom widgets.
