If you're using Trilium Notes completely local (as in the desktop application, without sync), or if you're using sync using a self-hosted server then you're good to go. Trilium doesn't phone home, except to check if a new version is available. If you're using a shared service such as Trilium.cc or PikaPods, then the notes might be accessible by the one owning the server. In that case you can use protected session, and you can encrypt your notes so that they cannot be accessible by them. Regardless, since you're dealing with sensitive information, make sure to have a strong password set. |

I have horrible memory after a injury and I need this note taking to organize everything in my life or I will simply forget. Is this program safe to store all these things? Does the program send the information anywhere? I was reading the github information and I didn't see anything on privacy so I wanted to ask directly, thank you!
