Hi @FunFanCyco! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the Trilium team.

The Trilium Web Clipper is a browser extension for saving text, screenshots, whole pages, and notes directly into Trilium Notes. The extension is in maintenance mode and the official release page is expired, but you can still install it from the Chrome Web Store or build it manually from source if needed. Firefox users can use the .xpi from the GitHub releases if available, or install manually in developer mode.

After installing, make sure your Trilium instance is running. The extension will try to connect automatically to your local Trilium app, or you can configure the server address in the extension options. Clippings go to a "clipper inbox" note (by default, the day note, but you can set the clipperInbox label on any note to change this) [docs].

You can use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+S to save selected text, Alt+Shift+S to save the whole page, Ctrl+Shift+E for screenshots), context menu options, or the extension popup to clip content. If you run into connection issues after installing, try restarting your browser [discussion].

If you can't download the extension, you can build it from source using the code in the apps/web-clipper directory of the Trilium repo [README].

The web clipper is still functional.

You have two options:

• An improved version that is still under development by @Nriver: https://github.com/Nriver/trilium-web-clipper-plus/releases
• You can get the original web clipper here: https://github.com/zadam/trilium-web-clipper/releases

If you want use the original version of web clipper, you can use Edge, it works for now.
