The built-in calendar in Trilium Notes does support events with specific hours and minutes, but this is only available in custom calendar views—not in the default Journal calendar, which is limited to day-level notes. To add hourly events, you need to create your own calendar view and then drag across a time frame to create a new event with start and end times. However, interactive editing like dragging or resizing events is currently limited in the UI, and recurring events (such as weekly repeats) are not natively supported or documented in the built-in calendar. Advanced features like Google Calendar-style repeats or sync would require custom plugin development or scripting. More details can be found in this discussion and here. To reply, just mention @dosu. How can I add events with specific hours in the calendar and is it possible to make them repeat weekly etc (as in Google Calendar?). I am working on a custom plugin, a calendar from scratch with Google Calendar sync integration and I was wondering if the built-in calendar already has these features.
