There isn’t a built-in, easy way in Trilium to copy or construct a direct note URL for private use outside the app without requiring login or public sharing. Deep links to notes (like the one you found) require authentication to access private notes, and the current workaround is bookmarking and copying the link from "Open bookmark in new window" reference. There’s an open feature request for a custom URI scheme (e.g., To reply, just mention @dosu. How did I do? Good | Irrelevant | Incorrect | Verbose | Hallucination | Report 🐛 | Other |

@paulusm , in more recent versions of the desktop app and if you have sync set up, then go to the note menu near the title -> Advanced -> Open note on server. This will open the URL in the browser You can also form the URL manually like: https://notes.example.com/#root/PcBLEPaaHz9H where You can also obtain the full note path (useful if you have the note in multiple paths) by selecting the note in the note tree -> Advanced -> Copy note path to clipboard. |

Hi - I'd like to easily ink direct to a specific note from outside Trilium (e.g. to use in my Todo app). Is there a URL I can copy and use without needing to share the note publicly?
I've found this one https://notes.paulus.me.uk/?extraWindow=1#root/LRR3YiC19tnx/c7VuQKoRWMZd/N43YfYiukbpw?ntxId=qTqcI3
.. but not a shortcut to construct the link easily (I had to bookmark it first, then copy the link from "Open bookmark in new window"
Thanks
