Number of hidden child notes does not float over note name

If the tree is to narrow, the number of hidden child notes does not overlay the note name but causes a line wrap, which does not look nice:

This is a known UI limitation with the current implementation of the hidden child notes counter. The badge is appended to the note title and styled with float: right;, but when the tree view is too narrow, the flexbox layout and float can cause the badge to wrap onto a new line instead of overlaying or truncating with the title. The relevant CSS uses white-space: nowrap and text-overflow: ellipsis for the title, but the badge itself doesn't overlay the text—it sits to the right and can push the title or wrap when space runs out. There are no explicit workarounds or fixes documented for this behavior yet, and no code comments or TODOs reference a planned solution. If you want to experiment, you could try adjusting the badge's CSS to use position: absolute within a relatively positioned container, or tweak the flexbox layout to better handle shrinking and truncation, but this would require custom CSS changes in your environment.
