Hey,

I have been using OpenGothic for a while now, and I am aware of, for example, #614 . I created a Cross-Platform launcher that mimics the original launcher from Gothic. I have tested it on Linux, and it runs fine. There are CI builds for MacOS and Windows, though I can not vouch for them.

I choose wxWidgets for it's native integration into all supported platforms.

I hope this will be useful for some of you.

Just to mention: I've seen your post about Gothic started, but haven't had opportunity to download/test it. Generally OpenGothic suppose to work with vanilla starter (assuming, that you replace gothic2.exe), however cross-platform starter is very welcome! :)
