Tumblr hidden/adult blogs shown as offline / won't load

One example:
<hidden blog> is a blog that TumblThree shows offline. I guess because it primarily lands on the protected page. When I click "ok show content" it works in tumblr, but I cannot download with this nice tool

Any ideas?

You must be logged in (settings dialog) to download hidden blogs.

How exactly do you log in? I'm on the setting/connection tab. I see Authenticate for Tumblr. It says I'm logged out. I click Authenticate and it opens a window that shows Tumblr and I AM logged in. I tried the Privacy Consent button. Same thing...opens a window showing Tumblr and I AM signed in. I've tried this off and on for months. I've tried signing out of Tumblr and back in (both online and thru the app). Nothing. It still says that I'm logged out. I even got an email from Tumblr saying that I logged in. I should note that this does not stop me from downloading non-hidden blogs. That works fine even though it says I'm logged out. So, what are the steps EXACTLY to log in?
I'm on version 2.17.0.477. This seems to be an ongoing issue as I see multiple threads in the issues tab. I hate complaining about something that's free and it works great on the non-hidden blogs (and Twitter/X). It just would be nice to have it work on hidden blogs as well. Thanks.

Here's what works for me. There's no guarantee it will work for everyone else. It kind of depends on the day, how much you already downloaded that day, the site's load, the constellation of stars that day, and who knows what else.

• open the app
• go to Settings, Connection tab and wait 1-2 sec
• regardless of whether it says "Logged in as..." or "Logged out" click on Authenticate
• if the page wants a login, enter credentials
• wait until the page is loaded (it can be scrolled)
• close the Authenticate window and wait another 1-2 sec until it says "Logged in as..."
• close Settings dialog and download hidden blogs (max 1-2 concurrently)

On good days, the download works for a few hours without any issue, on bad days, the authentication fails after just a minute or two. Close the app and start again from step 1. Depending on the day and your persistence: Stay on the wheel.

Thanks. I have tried that...let it sit for a while after clicking authenticate, letting it fully load and then closing the window. I guess the magnetic pull of the earth in my area isn't correct as that doesn't seem to work for me.

The same issue occurring with Authenticate.
The authentication window logged in fine, and can see results.
Each time leave that window, it shows logged out.

Another great function would be tickbox for Auth on Startup. So its displayed before the processing of all the sites occurs, this would save the original poster issue of locked sites appearing offline when first scanned

Can confirm same behavior. Login intermittently works when opening the app but will switch to logged out.

When app opens and is able to log in, hidden blog will download but ~100 - 200 posts in and then start throwing exceptions in the log file:

Looks like something's triggering it to deauth.
