What is spurious charge in the Photon Shot noise formula? #169
-
Hello DECODE authors, I was wondering what is spurious charge and if there is any reference you used that I can do some readings. I remember in undergraduate courses that spurious charge refers to the dark current noise. Is that what it is? Or something else? Thank you. |

Dear @tsuijenk Huang, F. et al. Video-rate nanoscopy using sCMOS camera–specific single-molecule localization algorithms. Nature Methods 10, 653 (2013). I think you can find the detailed discussion of the different noise terms in the supplementaries of the paper. |
