If you could actually describe your feature request in a regular human way that would help, because I have no idea what "Support dual sync paths (full coords vs restricted data) for sharestone GUIs." is supposed to mean on a user-level, or what there is to be preversed in the "client-side JourneyMap toggle".

The actual problem (user-level)

When a player joins a server that has lots of Sharestones, JourneyMap (and similar) can end up auto-creating a waypoint for every Sharestone. On big servers that can mean hundreds/thousands of waypoints dumped onto a new player’s minimap, instantly cluttering their UI.

What I’m trying to achieve

Give servers a way to prevent Sharestones from being streamed to map mods / waypoint systems by default, so:

• Players can still use Sharestones normally for travel,
• but joining the server does not spam their minimap with Sharestone waypoints.

Secondary angle: privacy (but not “magic secrecy”)

This isn’t about making a Sharestone “secret” once someone uses it — obviously if you travel there, you’re physically there.
It’s about preventing passive coordinate leakage / intel gathering:

• Joining the server (or opening a menu) shouldn’t automatically hand you coords / map waypoints for every Sharestone.
• Especially on PvP servers, that’s free recon and it fills the minimap with junk.

So “privacy mode” really means “don’t auto-export location data to clients/map mods unless the server explicitly allows it,” not “hide locations forever.”

What “dual sync paths” was meant to say

• Normal mode: Sharestones sync as they do now (map integrations can create waypoints).
• Restricted mode: Sharestones still sync enough to populate the Sharestone GUI / travel list, but not enough for JourneyMap to generate waypoints (i.e. don’t stream that waypoint/coord data to clients).

JourneyMap toggle

Players can keep their client toggle, but if the server says “don’t sync Sharestones to minimap integrations,” then the toggle shouldn’t be able to override that and re-spam waypoints.

Also: you’re totally right about testing/build responsibility — I shouldn’t have submitted something I couldn’t build/test.
