Install specific release

Hey all,

this is definitely a noob question and most likely answered easily. Unfortunately, I am unable to figure it out myself. I am trying to install the latest release of the plugin (1.8.0.5) on a docker instance of lidarr. However, regardless whicht git url I use, it will allways install 1.8.0.0 and not 1.8.0.5.

Tried the original lidarr repo, ast well as hotio and linuxserver. Also, used the develop branch uri for the github repo for 1.8.0.5 as shown on the releases page and the direct link to the 1.8.0.5 release. As said above, the installed plugin version is always 1.8.0.0 and with this version I have the reportet issues, which seem to have been addressed on the following releases.

Any hints on how to get the most recent release installed, is much appreciated.

Ok, I am foolish. Just figured, I could just manually replace the files in the plugin directory.

But you could have simply posted:
https://github.com/TypNull/Tubifarry/tree/develop into the URL box—that would have done the trick if version 1.8.0 was already installed.
Just a heads-up: This is a development version, so bugs may be present.
Please report any issues you come across!

That was what I did after finding release 1.8.0.5, but it didnt work. I still got version 1.8.0.0. At least that version was shown in the installed plugins overview.

An sure, I am aware that it is in devvelopment and might contain bugs. Considering the metadata server issue in lidarr, I have to wait anyways for testing wether or not the plugin works as expected. Also, I have not finished setting up youtube as an indexer and client.

Version 1.8.0 must be installed before the development version. While pasting prior to installation does install 1.8.0, upgrading becomes possible once version 1.8.0 or higher was installed.

Regarding the metadata issue—yes, that's a known problem, we all are waiting.
However, if you're interested in testing the custom metadata implementations, that would be greatly appreciated, as I still need feedback. Keep in mind that these implementations may contain bugs, but they would enable metadata retrieval from sources like Deezer or Discogs.

The update has been deployed, and Docker images are now at version 2.13.1.
My first instance crashed due to the autoupdate🥳.
I'm glad I updated this plugin, before it was deployed.
