Thanks for your response. Appreciated. I actually think it might be unrelated as I figured it out eventually with trial and error. Essentially my installer added an IP address into the sigen app under Modbus Server IP. It should have in fact been blank. Once I had managed to explain to Sigen Support, it was removed and the integration works fine. Hope you solve your issue! Matt |

Hi all
Apologises I have researched, used Gemini and tried the Sigenergy support team, all leaving me none the wiser.
I had the SigenStor Hybrid Inverter 8kw, SigenStor Battery 10kw and Sigenergy Gateway installed this week.
I asked the installer to enable Modbus, I saw he did but it asked for an IP. He entered the inverters.
I tried the integration in HA adding the inverters IP, slave ID as 1 and I get error "Could not connect".
I tested the ports and see that the inverter has 502 open and listening. I checked my firewall and no internal ports are blocked. The HA server and Sigenergy inverter are also on the same network e.g. 192.168.1.XXX
I contacted Sigenergy support and they said the inverter IP should not be in the installer settings, it should be the IP of the modbus server. Confused as I thought the inverter WAS the server?
Can anyone give me a few tips on how to get this working and what IP is actually set in the installer app for TCP Modbus?
If someone could list the instructions to follow in order this would be great!
Thank you in advance.
