Hi, Check out the discussion thread Q&A #46 in the old Sigenergy integration (URL below). In particular check out the response from Sig Engineering. I think this may help. |

Hey Everyone, Before getting my SIgenergy I had a (new and speedy) ubiquiti based network with multiple current 6 and 7 series AP's around the house initially with everything on the 192.168.0.X/24 network. While I had originally intended to set up multiple SSID's each with its own unique VLAN behind to segment network traffic it was a design aim and not an essential taht I felt was actually needed. When I got the Sigenergy installed I suddenly found a bunch of network things suddenly behaving badly. My 3 x Daikin Split/Multisplit Aircons were dropping off the network altogether intermittently and after faultfinding I worked out that I had to move my Sigenergy onto its own seperate VLANs, 192.168.1.x/24 and 192.168.2.x/24 for all the various Tuya devices spread around and for the BYD shark car . As soon as I did that everything else that was mucking up suddenly fixed itself.
Has anyone else seen the same thing? I think the Sig is very chatty. In my case I have a wired and a wifi connection available into the same network vlan segment and the device is correctly using the wired segment over wifi.
Anyone who is a network Guru probably had the segmentation in place already and may not have seen the speed /reliability issues I was seeing. My Sigenergy Android app is Ok but absolutely one of the slowest apps I have on my phone. Are others seeing the app as generally unimpressive in terms of update speeds etc, with the last version update, which from a timing perspective was post the vlan segmentation the app responsiveness became much worse, with times when I don't see any real time updates of the various 3D house in and out values.... I refresh and refresh and eventually it starts working.
Just trying to work out if this is a me issue or are other also uninspired by sigenergy app and sigenergy network zippiness?
Regards
Andy
