I tried using git, but just got too many merge conflicts :(

Do you have practical experience and examples of using your Memory Bank in a team setting, and how to avoid/resolve conflicts? For instance, if two people work on different features that sound very similar, or have an overlap, then the two individual's Memory Bank updates yield a lot of conflicts.
